English name: Army Long Service Medal

Official abbreviation: H.T.H.

Instituted September 26th 1945 by King Christian 10th.

Awarded to personnel in the Danish Army for 25 years of service, after their 20th birthday.
After 40 years of service, a Golden Oak Leaf Device will be added to the ribbon.

Personel eligible for the Fortjenstmedaljen, will get this instead of the 40 Years Oak Leaf Device.

Design and images

Worn in a red ribbon with a wide white centre stripe. The medal is in silver and the obverse shows the monogram of King Christian X and the text "26. september 1870"
